Weekend humor :)
By aamerz on Thu, 25/04/2013 - 11:05amA woman visiting Doha decides to go ice fishing. So she cuts a hole in the ice and sets up her stool when a voice booms from overhead, "There are no fish under that ice."
She moves her stool over a few feet and cuts another hole. Again, a voice says, "There are no fish under that ice!"
"Is that you God?" asks the woman.
"No. This is the manager of the Villagio ice rink."

The 'German' Job!
By Khanan on Thu, 25/04/2013 - 7:40amTwo days of amazing, absorbing and fascinating football. Bayern Munich and Dortmund FC outclassed the Spainiards giants.
Being a huge follower of Barcelona and Messi, it was a huge dissappointment but yesterday's RM's was a bit of relief.
Some interesting tweets :
'Wow. Spainsh teams EIGHT a lot of goals in Germany'
'Lewandowski? More like LeFOURdowski'
Looking forward for all 'German' affairs in the final.

Volunteers wanted for one-way ticket to Mars
By landloverreview on Tue, 23/04/2013 - 2:33pmMars One, a Dutch company, has begun its search for volunteers to fly and live on the red planet - but it's a one-way trip.

At a press conference in New York City on Monday, the company's CEO Bas Lansdorp announced an open call for anyone to apply for the flight, knowing that they will never be able to return home. The mission will be one-way only because there currently is no technology that would enable a return trip from Mars to Earth.

INTERNATIONAL EARTH DAY
By gypsy gal on Mon, 22/04/2013 - 10:44amUntil a man duplicates a blade of grass, Nature can laugh at his so-called scientific knowledge. Remedies from chemicals will never stand in favorable comparison with the products of Nature, the living cell of a plant, the final result of the rays of the sun, the mother of all life.
-- Thomas Alva Edison
Forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet, and the winds long to play with your hair.
-- Kahlil Gibran
The wealth of the nation is its air, water, soil, forests, minerals, rivers, lakes, oceans, scenic beauty, wildlife habitats and biodiversity… That’s the whole economy. That’s where all the jobs come from. These biological systems are the sustaining wealth of the world.

Do you really want to buy a DSLR Camera?
By timebandit on Thu, 18/04/2013 - 7:24amI take a lot of photos. It is my hobby and my passion. I am lucky enough to be able to earn a small amount of money from my hobby and passion, which although very small does kind of make me semi-professional. A status that I quite enjoy giving myself. Why do I take photographs? The simple answer is I can’t draw. I am artistic with artistic tendencies and a creative mind but I need a camera to produce my art for me. I started with my first SLR camera (Single Lens Reflex) and a tiny black and white dark room in my coal shed back home in the UK 33 years ago, and I have been with digital cameras ever since they became available. I sold my first picture at the age of 16.
