if its Nissan and nothing but Nissan , so go to pathfinder, leave this small box to the police

more reliable suv : fj cruiser if the brand is not an issue

if you are hinting the new ones. they are nothing but big shoe boxes with serious grunt. I would rather go landcruisers. The staple 4wds

Very cheap build quality - hard plastic all over the interior. Not a nice car at all. Pay a little extra and get the X-Terra!

I would opt for it:
1. Full time 4 wheel drive
2. Best price in the range.
3. Shape may be box type but better than the rounded Honda and more space inside.
4. Plastic interiors are standard for all ranges of Nissan.
5. Being brand Nissan and associated privleges like less maintenance costs, timely service, more service centres, good resale value in country, extended warrantee etc.
6. More leg space at rear/front as compared to other brands in same category.

Baldrick2Dogs - You said "very cheap build quality" and spoke about the interior but what about the exterior. More important - safety issue - what is your opinion? TQ.
