What is the cost of repairing automatic gear of a V6 engine
I bought a vehicle with a V6 engine and the automatic transmission developed problem. I would like to know what would be the cost of repairing or replacing the same and I would also like to know who would do this work.

hello, btw you only mentioned V6 engine...what about the CAR/MAKE? if it is toyota go to toyota company, if it is cadillac go to cadillac company it is simple as that and they can answer you 101%. however for discussion purposes just to give you an idea how much it will cost , for my KIA PIACNTO with also the same problem (replacement of GEAR BOX) IT cost me 12,500 qr inclusive of labor charge. hope your problem is not thasame as mine , there is a probabilty that it might be the 1st or 2nd gear that is worned out ...if not the entire gear box should be replaced , and it is expensive. regards eric Answered on Tue, 18/11/2008 - 7:02pm
