why they put high price when they want sale them car in qatarliving site ?

the price its really very far from car market , even if you think your car deserve , but you have to be logical with life and market like car model 1997 cost 80.000 its 11 years alreday maybe its coming from moon ?

I totally Agree with you, and I assume you refer to the G320, which was way overpriced(probably worth 35-40000)
But remember you can't compare "high End " car prices with the average Japanese car of the same year.

U people have touched a nice topic.Let me tell u that this site has been taken over by the brockers/traders so no question about the rationale of prices and secondly most of the first ownerss don't want to depreciate the prices as per market rule especially the Indians(Sorry to the comunity but its a fact).

i get result , maybe these people they think , we have alot of money to just buy when the others say 80000 QR or any amount ,we have to be more open mind about cars market here in doha , alot of treader they pretend and say like what they want >>>>> ECT , long story next time i will sale car model 1980 by 100 000 coz not from urop or japan or us its from other brand , ( tricky brand)

Obviously the person selling his 1997 or 1997 for QR 80,000 isn't in a hurry to sell it. Definately shouldn't hold his breath.

Hey guys,

Just I wanna make somethings clear for y'all..

1. Its the owners decision to put up his own car's price.
2. If you are OK with his rates, U can go ahead.
3. You cannot pin point any communities randomly like that.
4. If you are well enough to talk about this issue, Why don't u go for first hand ??? Rather than talking about some tactics( :D) used by certain communities.

Please grow up and think BROAD.

I have experienced the other side. I bought a new car and want to sell my old ones. I posted them for a reasonable price, and my phone rings off the hook. dozens of people call, "what is best price?, what is best price?" What does that even mean. The best price for me is obviously what i am asking or more. How about for you potential buyer. What is a good (best) price for you?

They won't give an offer, they just keep saying what is best price. I can't take it. I want to say are you on crack? What price did i post if for? Then every person i show the cars to is a used car bargain hunter, the seat is dirty, will you discount, the paint is faded will you discount.

Good grief, sure ill discount, it will save me from pushing this thing off into the persian gulf, which i am about ready to do with it. I have no desire to chat with you for hours on end about the short comings you see in my car, a car i have loved, maintained and built up to my exact specifications.

Then they say, well, I don't have any money and i make 1/10th of what you are asking for the car per month.

Ahhhggggg!!! So, next time I will post for double what i am happy to get out of it. Why? To reduce the amount of b.s. callers.

Its probably because they think they are aiming at the expatriate market and charge over the odds..

even if you want do that pat , its already 80000 QR you will get what 70.000 or 60.000 ,in the market cost 25000 not more .so thats not logical

which car is 97 model for 80000 ?pls.send me the link
if it it true,it must be a bentley or a lamborghini
because as a principal you should apply the 15% yearly depreciation on all types of car
so in case it is 80000 qr after 11 years ,it means it original price in 1997 was around 400000qr
it is the case of collectible cars maybe

nomatter what is the price posted,the golden rule to buy a car for a fair price is to minus 15% yearly depreciation ,and in case it is in immaculate condition and no accident you can grant the owner 2000 qr for the cleanliness.
of course european cars and american you can minus 20% yearly bcz they are less value than japs
