If it has WIFI Feature, all u gotta do is search for WIFI networks and connect to a Network.

If it doesnt have WiFi,
U gotta use GPRS or 3G WEB to connect either from postpaid or prepaid.

Just send an sms ALL to 2072, u will recieve the settings in a while, save and install it.

u need not be on postpaid.
From Prepaid, to start using:
send sms ALL to 2072.
recieve setting , install it.
Open browser and surf, thats it.

and I think the web connection from postpaid does have sum advantages compare to prepaid.
Contact 111 for more info.

Hope this answer sorts out your problem.

You should use GPRS to be able to connect to Internet. This is available on the Hala subscription. However, the settings sent by QTel doesn't work well on the Windows Mobile 5 (WM5) or 6 (WM6) devices. If you put a sim card, Qtel generally sends you an sms for the settings. But these settings are not applied properly on WM5 or WM6 phones. I have an HTC TyTNII phone and faced the same issue. To resolve it, you need to manually configure the GPRS settings on your phone. QTEL wasn't of much help. However, these settings are available on the Internet at the following:
http://www.qtel.com....

See at the bottom of the web page for detailed GPRS Settings.

On your iMate, i assume you are running WM5 or WM6. To create a new GPRS connection (I have WM6 and maybe WM5 might be slightly different), perform the following:

1. Click on Start > Settings
2. Go to Connections tab.
3. Select Connections.
4. (If you have accepted the settings sent to you by QTel, you should see an entry named "QTel GPRS". In which case, you should select "Manage existing connections".
5. Select "Qtel GPRS" connection name and select Edit.
6. Follow the steps and fill in the blanks based on the settings on the QTel webpage (See above). You will need to set the:
Access point name
Username and password
(Go to Advanced mode) - Set IP address to "Use server-assigned IP address
Set DNS server to "Use server-assigned address"

In case you do not see the "QTel GPRS" connection (Step 4), you will have to create a new one. To create a new one, use the "Add a new modem connection". Give the connection a name and Select "Cellular Line (GPRS, 3G)" as the modem type.

By the way, I don't work for QTEL.... :)
