Dell = HONDA
Acer = Hayndai

More car for the money, less quality. ;) Get it??

I agree with Jhong

All electronics these days are disposable...

If u still wanna buy a slightly more reliable one go for dell...

but yea...ACER is a cheap deal...

i bought a dell laptop worth 1700 QR first i thought after 1 yr i would dispose it but amazingly it survived for 4 yrs and still working just had to increase ram space and hardisk size. i have installed and uninstalled a lot of useless and usefull softwares and 24X7 download of movies
and also made in china i would recomend dell or HP will also be the best as i am using both and both of them are great.

if u want to buy buy DELL or HP.

I've got both, DELL is most definitely the better one, but it depends what you need it for. I like my acer for travelling - its clocked up more air miles than some people I know!

go for acer, price is less and also we have lots of varieties .

i think we use labtop for sending mail, calling , surfing net and watching movies sometime( its my thinking).

then i can suggest you can go for acer itself, good quality with less price.

Dell is highly recommended. But if your budget is low, you may go for Acer. You'll get a lot more higher specs with a low price.

In terms of quality, consider all electronics devices nowadays are dispossable.
