Tata Sky

Tata Sky

Hi,

I will be moving to Qatar in the month of August. I believe lot of people out there are using Tata Sky.

Do i need to cary the entire thing (box + dish) from India or just the box is enough. In that case , can i procure the dish locally from Qatar.

Also are there people in Qatar who can do the installation of Tata Sky ?????

Friend, legally Tata sky is not allowed in Qatar.

1) Legally not allowed,
2) Only bring the decoder, the dish is too small
3) During bad weather, it does not work.
4) Make sure you will be allowed to carry it out of the country - India
5) Allowed to bring it to Qatar???

There is no problem in bringing it, just bring the receiver...well i got one for my friend two days back and there was no problem at Cochin airport neither here...
Dish u can locally purchase as u need the biggest one around..

Dear Friend!

Welcome to Arab Land . You can get Tata sky reciever from India pre installed by them in India. Dish can be insytalled locally with appx. expenses of QAR 1000/

Anubhav, it is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, then to write down your foolish query and remove all doubts. For this one stupid question of yours could deprive a lot of us of the entertainement we all enjoy. So if you got any more stupid questions before coming to qatar , use the option like on that kaun banega crorepati program "PHONE A FRIEND"
