can any one tell me the cost of ciggarette and beer in doha as i am moving to doha from india in dec. 2008.

Beer is very expensive in the bars, around US $7 for a bottle of beer. Cigarettes on the other hand are cheap, though I couldn't give you a price. You can get a licquor licence where alcohol is cheaper but still relatively expensive

you can bring as many as you like..but if you get stopped by custom you only allowed 200cigs

Marlboro lights at Carrefour costs 56QR per ream.
Winston and the others are cheaper, about 45QR.
