Hi,

My husband has got an offer in DOHA as Mech Manager (Engineering divison), the salary offered is 25000 Riyals + Medical benifit for sely and family.

I have my relatives settled in DOHA for past 5 yrs, according to them, the cost of living is very expensive.

We are family of three, so we dont require a big flat, may be a one BHK...

What is cost ..?

3500-4500 for small portion of villa with separate entrance
and 4500-7000 for a flat in building medium size
more than 7500 for big flat in good location...until 15000 or more

It seems more than reasonable,
though you should take into consideration the cost of schooling.

Yeah! the cost of living in Doha is very expensive, especially house rent. As you are family of three it will cost you QR 7000 to 10000.

ask for allowance for your accommodation from the company or let them arrange a flat for you...otherwise, 25000 QR won't be enough for your family to survive in Doha. don't be afraid of negotiating with the company with regards to the offer...good luck!
