Custom duty in India for 32" LCD TV

Please advice if anybody has taken 32" LCD TV to India & how much custom duty too be paid at Hyderabad Airport. Thanks in advance for your valuable information.

I think there is no need to pay customs duty for Lcd tv's up to 32".Last year I and my friend take one to home in kozhikkode and Trivandrum respectively.No one demand us for pay customs duty.

If it is only one 32 inch LCD/LED normally there is no customs duty.

Hello friend
there is no need to pay duty for 32" lcd tv but if you are taking a 42" they will ask. i have took one 4 months before no one asked in cochin international airport,and yesterday one of my cousin took one no one ask anything there. but my friend who is working in the cochin intl. airport in emigration dept. told me once dont bring 42" you will ask tax for that ..

If it is 1 ps LCD then no duty, but if it is LED or 42" then there will be...
Do not remove co. packing or cover with another packing so the handling will be careful.
