I am a woman coming for an interview. Can I wear pants? Can I wear dressy sandals?

I am coming to Qatar to interview for an executive position. As a middle aged woman, dresses and high heels have disappeared from my life. Are pants and sandals OK? I do not wish to offend anyone, nor alienate my interviewers. Guidance please.

Dress type which mentioned by you is no problem in Qatar. It's normal in Qatar.
choose your wearing as per your matching and personality.

I am sure you look very smart in a pants suit. Absolutely no problem wearing one here, and dressy sandles are the norm with all woman - as its too hot for anything else, so fear not!

just be casually smart in ur attire..u will never go wrong..confidence and comfortability will add of course..

of course lady u can wear anything as long as it covers all ur body
these days jobs are available for Americans and Britishers more so dont worry

No doubt you can do that. Dress as you feel comfortable…there should not be any issue. Just be smart and confident what so ever you are doing.

sure you can wear antyhing you want unless it's not very attractive (open top or mini skirt will attract people's attention). at the end of the day, Qatar is an Islamic country so that you should respect the locals...where are you from?

on this my opinion is wear simple dress as pants, that will get good impression on you and also wear simple sandal to use for an interview time...

I suppose it depends who is doing the interview and for what job!

Modest dress just in case though - half sleeves and cover to the ankle should see you ok for any eventuality
