The name Jasim is widely used in Gulf countries and therefore it is an arabic name., that is just a name alone without any predicable meaning as you segregated letters and make your own meanings and all that has no basic backup. Derivation of this name orignally comes from a imitation of (Qassim) that is the pet name of prophet mohd alaihissalam is addressed as Abul Qasim, and it is unique for him alone that is not desirable to address other than him as Abul Qasim, people later on began to tilt the letter (Q) to letter (J). and is widely used as an arabic term. and the further definition, allah knows.
