which are the good Indian Restaurants in Qatar. I know about Shalimar and Aaryas, no others???????????

Bharat, Swagath, Fork, Delhi behind Q-tel, Chingari, couple of them on Airport Road.

Bukhara in tennis complex. and aalishan in muntaza near small almeera.

Chingari in the Ramada - fantantic for starters and some beer. Order the lamb chops and king prawns - wash it down with some chilled beer. Awesome. Horrible music though.

Bombay Balti - also in the Ramada (new extension).

Taj Rasoi - in the Mariott

The prices are bit on the higher side for the above three

Bukhara - at the Qatar Tennis Federation - One of the best indian restaurants here. No alcohol here unfortunately.

Asha's at the villagio

For budget buys - swagat restaurant is good. i'm hooked on the mutton biryani and dedicate my friday afternoons to this with some beer.

Arya's is only good for south indian - dosa's etc.Avoid Chettinad - horrible horrible food.

No place yet for good chat still in Doha :-( I miss my bhel puri from bbay. Even Dubai and Bahrain have great chat places but none in Doha are upto the mark.

there is a new one near to my home called aallishan its really nice i didn't try but it look nice and it crowded always.its near old almerra at mountzah.

Someone suggested BUKHARA, but I would not recommend it to anyone unless you really want to WASTE your money.

I went there after almost 10 years and was so disappointed by the food that I would never try again.

For two dishes and a curd plus a few bread I paid QR 90.

Anyone who hears this would laugh; b'coz Caravan or Garden restaurant would provide buffet for lesser prize.

Best Indian Restuarants as under

No 1 -Chingari located inside Old Ramada Hotel
Expensive but awesome food and drinks .

No 2 -Bukhara next to Khalifa Tennis stadium.
Good food and value for money .
But no drinks .

No 3 -Can be Asiana or Caravan or star of India .
All same sterling group and almost similiar menu.

One more would be Taj Rasoi in Mariott hotel which is also like Chingari more or less.
