4x4 driving off road ..WHERE TO PEOPLE

I see heaps of 4x4 SUV on the road, so some time back I asked the question. What are some good places to go ina 4x4 around Qatar, from down in the south Salwa, west to Dukhan, north to Al Mufjar, and any place in between, al I got was one good reply about Sea Line beach.. Now please people ther must be some good road or track that is worth seeing, some good isolated beaches to drive to… what is out there,,come on please…..are there any 4x4 clubs that go out in groups…I cant be the only one that needs this information,,,Thanks

well, try driving to Zikrit or Ummbab which is near to Dukhan. also drive down to north Alkhor beaches, Dakhira, Ruwais on the way u can turn to visit AlZubarah Fort. the way through Ummsalal Ali and Ummsalal Mohammed is quite interesing.

afterreading your name of places to see. i hunted down on the old internet this very good Qatar site. http://www.heritageo...

It has everything in it,, each site to vist, maps on how to get there, Complete description of the places.. and mate you are great thanks. I have now spent 2 hours printing all off and wil make a folder of it al and tatar i am gone,, have a look it is good, Thanks again from TIMTAN

Timtam - thanks for that link. I'll be doing a few of those when the weather improves.

You might also want to drive to Kararah - the only "Scenery" I've ever seen in Qatar so far!

There are some great ideas there. Thanks.

I don't know of any 4x4 clubs, but I'm looking for company to go offroading into the desert. Anyone interested? PM me or call me on 5884512 and maybe we can plan something.
