You have to get minimum score of 80 % at high school..

You have to pass the Math, Computer and english exams..
or otherwise.. joining a foundation Program at QU .
English courses can be droped by getting 500 points in TOEFL OR 5,5 IN IELTS exams..

The last date of reg. to Qu for fall 2008 was 10th of July.

But try with them .. or come back on the first of SEP.

Last year the admission was opened again on SEPT.

GoodLuck and weclome to QU Changing For You.

Mahram and Gair-Mahram
are 2 terms related to the Islamic religion
for example if a lady wants to travel she need to have a mahram with her, a mahram could be her father, brother, or husband
she can never travel woth gair mahram like a male friend or her uncle's son for example
obviously a girl can't marry a mahram
mahram is the males that females are prohibited to marry

i hope this has given u an idea at least

Yes, I did. Got some dietary supplements from USA.

You need to have POBox issued by Aramex in USA where the delivery happens, and then Aramex collect it and ship it over here.

I am not sure of the process now, as i used my colleagues POBox to ship my items.

Call them up and check it.

I however had no issues with the deliveries.

Cheers

It will be the discretion of the Hamad Medical or NHA if he will be allow to continue his stay here in Qatar. But I doubt it, more likely he will be sent home. The authorities should investigate where did he got his HBsagh so that they can prevent the spread of Hepatitis. The cause is usually bad hygiene of a place

Mothers are not eligible to apply for sponsorship of their children, only the Father can do that. As for your case, your husband can sponsor your child. Requirements are: after delivery, get the "green card" from the Nurses and bring it to the NHA (beside Lulu Center) together with your Marriage Certificate. He will fill up a form for that and specify how many copies of BC will be needed. Apply for a PASSPORT for the baby. Secure a passport of the baby from the Embassy. After a week, you can get it (BC) from the CID office (because you are not under your husband's sponsorship), and before you can get the BC, you need to bring and leave a PASSPORT (original) as a guarantor(in case the immigration denied your application, the only way for you to get the passport is by presenting a plane ticket of the child bound to your country). Once you get the BC, get a form from the Immigration in applying VISA for newborn baby in Qatar (take note...there are other VISA for children, you have to be specific). Get your baby's picture with Blue backgroud (tell the studio photographer that you need it for VISA). Proceed to Al Gharafa Immigration (the closest is behind Woqod tank in Industrial Area, near MES Indian School-they are more considerate than in Gharafa) and bring all the documents (BC, passport, picture, Green card with blood group, pataqa and passport copy of parents). Wait for the approval. If approved, congratulation. If not, proceed to the other immigration (Gharafa or Industrial). My wife is not under my sponsorship, same as my sister, but both my daughter and niece were born here and we have no problem.

Good luck...

Housing and Transport allowance differs from company to company. You will need to directly ask your prospective employer. Do not forget school fees. Ideally, it would be good to have those paid.
The basic salary is fine if the above is all paid for. However, as always mentioned it depends on your lifestyle..

There's a mix of answers. Look at the facts! Usually 5 countries go through but this time they decided 4 would.

Chicago was ranked third lowest, Qatar was ranked third highest.

I think it's just simply a matter of stereotype and the fact that people do not know much about Qatar and expect the worst.

I posted a little commentary on my blog http://blog.iloveqat... What do you think Qatari? Do I have some valid points?

It depends on if your employer will provide you with a free accommodation. If you receive free accommodation and are single then it would just be enough to live fairly decent. Electricity and water would cost around 500-1000 QR per month (depending on how how many people you are in the house and how conservative you are.) Food depends on your preferences as well. Eating out every night would quickly drain your wallet. Transportation does get quite expensive around here, especially if you have to travel everyday. Taxis and private limousines take about 20 to sometimes 70 QR depending on where you'd want to go. If your employer doesn't give you free accommodation or you are locally hired, it would be advisable to find another country to live in. The only other option would be to share a villa with someone BUT that has its complications...

Hi Alisha,

What kind of motorcycle are you looking for, bikes here rage from scooters to harleys so they can cost upward of 100,000 qr. Second had bikes are available it just takes some time to find a good one that has not been abused.

Fuel is cheaper than water at 8 dirhams per litre... Alchol unfortunately isnt!!
