I wish you'd quit, I'd feel much safer myself, enough idiots to dodge and to think for without you joining the pack.
You lack practice you say, so that means that you will be practising on Qatar roads, heaven help us, please let me know which route you will be taking so that I can avoid it.

you can go and take classes for now...since you have failed twice already, i believe this would be a good move. Go to Karwa and register, but right now, they require their students to go to the Traffic Dept in Gharaffa to be assessed and have the eye test, then you'll know what course you must take.

Not like before.

I am going to tell you a shortcut. Go to any driving school like Doha Driving Center at Khartiat area. Contact with any trainer and pay him some money like 350 QR and tell him that you want a practice and technique to pass L and pocket parking. He will tell you the technique. Road test is on yours....

Remember, it is for good driver.... If you are a new driver then u shud go for classes.......

hi Batingaw,

You may try to contact my previous instructor, Mr. Kalam, 5036702, of Al Rayah driving school.

his instructions for both pocket and L parking are accurate, you just have to follow them strictly, and u will never go wrong..

but of course, it is a different case for the road test. as for me, i was much concern with the road test than the parking since i am good at following instructions and it just what u did while you're in school but the road test is like the 'real-life' application of what u learn..

hope this helps.. thanks!

No....there is nothing wrong abt Qatar's driving test system. Its just your anxiety that you need to overcome to pass the tests. And whats the fuss about parking and driving ?? Is it so tough to park ? Wanna know my story....I passed all three tests in one go from Al Rayah. I sat at the wheel for the first time in my life, took trainin for 37 days and acquired my License at approx 11:40AM on 15th April this year. The police who took my road test was likely amazed at my skills. He asked me if I had previous driving experience while I was halfway thro' the test. Thats the level of confidence that people need to display.

Now i am among those rare fortunates who cleared this seemingly difficult task in one go. I was an experienced motorbike rider though. This have me a special edge on vehicle controls.

Cheers n best luck !

hi there batingaw. I agree with greece. Just follow every instructions and you'll surely pass L and pocket parking. Lets just say the first two part of the test is more on technical. Same here, first time behind the wheels, 25 days of training and with Gods help i passed at Al Rayah.

Its true just be very accurate to follow every details they teach, from head turning and stopping at the last pole.

All the best.

why not take a half course? they teach you exactly how to pass those parking stuff.if you can master what they teach you within 7 days, they'll tell you that you can take the exam. the instructors doesn't really expect you to finish-up the total number of days your course.

Good luck.

Hmmm.Just wondering whats so difficult that you failed twice. To drive is easy thing.Sorry.Maybe better you wait for some time and try it again later.Cos unsure drivers are dangerous and a risk for others.Sorry, dont want to offend you but thats what i think.
Good luck anyway.

Swiss girl.. he didnt have a problem with the driving.. he had a problem with the parking.. they make it too tight u know.. i mean if you were drivfing and u saw a parking space u werent sure off would u just look for another one?!..

A friend of mine took the dimensions they use for the exam and is practicing on the parking so my suggestion is practice on ur own infront of ur house until ur confident you can do the parking easily and go try again.

If you have failed two times already, you should not be given a driving licence, there are enough idiots and brainless drivers without adding anymore.
If you can't pass the test here you really shouldn't be given a licence as it is easy.

I honestly think alot of the locals here failed the test about 100 times. They are some of the worse drivers I have ever seen in my life.
