Hi, there are many places that will check your car, along Salwa road. You do not need an appointment, they will all check your car as soon as you get there. The one that was recommended to me was the German testing garage, they are along the Salwa road, no appointment neccessary.tel no: 4687377 Answered on Thu, 05/11/2009 - 8:51pm

My dear friend.Thank you for your answer but this information is wrong.This garage has nothing to do with car inspection.The Qatar Car Inspecting company in AL KHOR is behind the fire station,3 days inspection for LD and 3 days for HD vehicles from 07.30 to 17.30.We came to know that our 1 year old car didn't need any inspection for another 2 years.We only have to renew the insurance and apply to the traffic dept.By the way does anybody know the location of General Takaful insurance company(please answer if you really know)as usual to many offices in Qatar they do not pick up their phone.Thanks Answered on Sat, 07/11/2009 - 4:17pm
