is a printing press a good business

dear my friend,
i want to open a new press printing business in qatar, my question:
Is this business profitable and is it easy to get a license from ministry of commerce?

It is a very good business if u have enough resources and contacts to publish and authorize a daily newspaper and then u publish weekly magazine and advertisement editions...etc

it's very good business but it needs big budget to start it. The big printing press lincese isn't available it's given only by an Amiri decesion from the prince of Qatar himself. You could only get a lincese for small printing press which is allowed to print business cards, pamphlets, and booklets beside the gift items. You need to get an agreement from the The classified department first. I suggest you to get an advertisement company as a start then later you can get your own printing press company.

Thank you for your ansewr.
Would you please explain to me the different between the printing press and advertisment company?
can i practise the printing activity in both.
Do you know how much roughly i need to start a small printing press.
