where can i buy a guitar for a beginer?

My 14 year old son is ineterested in learning how to play a guitar. Where can i buy one cheaply and where can he get lessons at a reasonable price.

There's a decent looking place one round about away from the Custom's Round about on the Corniche. Never been but looks like it has a nice selection.

i cant remember the exact location in souq. its besides the Singer sewing machine store..they sell drums,guitars and piano, microphone etc.
