where can i hire a large van / pick up for moving my furniture? Want to drive it myself. Driver not needed.

I don't think such a service is available it would be good if there were as some of the open trucks that move furniture and household goods do a shotty job. I have seen a couch on C ring in the middle lane one day must of fallen off a truck. My friend hired Pakistani movers in souk Najma and she lost many things as well as they just stack it up in an open bed truck. Good luck let us know if you find such a service. But I think you also need a truck license here that could be the problem.

No risk at all, you should be present when they loading and unloading and try to packing by yourself.........good luck
