go to the phone souq by center point mall in al saad. I have taken a couple phones that I bricked there and they have been able to unlock them each time.

Sorry, at the moment, baseband 4.12.01 cannot be unlocked by any method - including the hardware based Gevey SIM exploit.

If you can revert or downgrade to a previous or old baseband, then perhaps you have a chance at an unlock.
