Your dog is much too young to breed - she should be at least 1 year old. A responsible dog owner will wait until she is mature enough to carry a litter to term healthily and safely. A really responsible owner would have her spayed rather than bringing more dogs into a country where so many are treated badly and abandoned. Please rethink your decision - spaying your dog will ensure she has a longer and healthier life too. Answered on Sat, 07/11/2009 - 10:50am

If you breed your bitch at such a young age none of her puppies will survive and it will make her seriously ill as well. Do you have a plan as to what you will do with all the puppies if you breed her when she's older? You will have to keep them for at least 8 weeks before finding them new homes, pay for their vaccinations and dewormers, pay for the mother's vet checks etc. Even if you plan to sell them you will spend more on them then you will get selling them. And you'll have at least 8 weeks of a wrecked house with chewed furniture and puppy poo everywhere.... Answered on Sat, 07/11/2009 - 11:22am
