Where can I buy absorbent underpads?

Hi,

Does anyone know where you can buy absorbent underpads? The type normally used under bed sheets (however, this will be used for dogs)? The local vet no longer sells them and we need to find a place that sells them (to put on the floor for our dogs to do their "business" on).

Thanks for all the replies. I used to go to Doha vets, but apparently they don't stock them anymore.

As an animal lover myself, I can relate to your concern. However, Our dogs get walked at least twice a day (by the owner, not a maid). This is just for if they have an emergency. Trust me, I think these are some of the most pampered dogs in the world (you may think I'm being sarcastic, but I'm not! =^))

No, I don't think you are being sarcastic, you obviously love your dogs. The pads are very useful for accidents, especially if, like my little dog, they always choose to go in the same place. I used to work at Doha Vets and was horrified by the many people who think it is ok to keep a dog inside with a litter tray. Can you imagine a worse existance for a dog?
I don't always manage to take my dogs out everyday, they have to make do with playing in the garden but it's a bit different to living on the 5th floor and never seeing the world!
I got some last week in MegaMart, they were about 40QR for 15 but very good quality. Good luck, JJ

Try 'Boots' in Villagio, they used to stock disposable undersheets. They could probably order some if they don't have them in.

There used to be loads for sale at Doha Vets. 5QR each I think. You can call them on 4367187

Although I do not condone keeping dogs inside all day every day for the rest of their lives as many people here do. Dogs need walks, socialisation and fresh air.
Erasmus, I don't think you would do this based on previous posts, this is aimed at the people who do.

P.S They also sell the pads in MegaMart at the Centre but they are v expensive.
