Can you visit Qatar whilst pregnant but not married?
Hi,
My partner has been offered a job in Qatar, he already visits the country once a month for work. He would like me and our 1 year old son to join him but I would like to visit before making a decision. We would get married before moving out there permanetly, however I would like to visit Doha before committing to moving there. Would there be a problem with me visiting the country for a few days, being pregnant and not married? Any help with my question much appreciated!!

being british you get Visit Visa on arrival and there is no law that says you cannot visit Qatar being pregnant and not married. Answered on Sun, 18/10/2009 - 5:27pm

In my experience I agree, should you need medical help in relation to your pregnancy, not being married may well be an issue.......is it a risk worth taking? Answered on Sun, 18/10/2009 - 6:09pm

If you would like to come to Doha under his sponsorship or his company (as you are pregnant & not legally partners),there will be problems in getting your visa.Probably, they will reject. But,if are willing to come as tourist, there will be no probelms for you.Be careful, if your pregnancy appears as it in early or late months, you will not be allowed to leave from your place itself.
