Delivery in Qatar on a Visit Visa

I am working in Qatar with a reputed company as a Sales Manager, my basic salary is QR 10,000. My wife is pregnant and would be visiting Qatar on a visit visa, my question is can she delivery the baby in Qatar while on a visit visa? What are the formalities to be done. Please advice

Well, first off, you have to pay for all expenses involved.

If your Basic salary is Qr 10000/, why don't you get her a family visa??

As far as I know, yes she can deliver here incase of emergency. Better to prepare the marriage certicate (authenticated by DFA/red ribbon), both of your passports. These are the documents we submitted when I gave birth to my daugther to Doha Clinic Hospital last Fbbruary 2012 & we filled up some forms given by them. But I have my RP but for sure in emergency cases they will not refuse to admit your wife though shes a visit visa only.

Will the airline even allow her to travel if she is so close to delivery?
