Please know that the flu vaccine is a dead virus. Thus, it is simply impossible to infect through vaccination. Most all pediatricians and physicians, and by most all I mean 98%, recommend vaccinating children, including infants. The most experienced and respected doctors in the US are recommending that children, including infants, not only receive the seasonal flu but also the H1N1 vaccine. Ultimately, it is a personal decision but to forego vaccinations flies in the face of safe and sound medical research and practice. One not only puts themselves at risk, but also those around them. If you're not sure, you should do your research - especially since you have internet access - you can research the opinions of doctors of every nationality and religious affiliation and then make your own, informed, decision. Hope this helps... Answered on Fri, 09/10/2009 - 1:55pm
