Where can I find an American Notary Public in Qatar

I am closing a real estate purchase in the US on the 29th of October.

I had made an appointment with the American Consulate here for the 20th of October to take whatever documents I would have to sign for the closing company and the bank and have them duly notarised there.

But now I have a small hiccup. It seems the papers may not be ready in time. I have checked on the Consulate website and there are no more appointments available this month.

So I need to find a way to either get an appointment at the consulate through another means or to find a notary here in Doha.

I have heard that some of the American Universities or Companies here may have notaries.

I contacted a local Law office who said they could do it for 500 QAR per page. As there are about 70 pages to sign you can see that that is not an atractive option.

Can anyone help?
