Resignation
I want to Resign from my Job, i am working here since 2 1/2 years , Will i get any graduity /benefit from the company , Secondly, can my employer hold my resignation after the notice period mentioned in the resignation Letter

You are entitled for gratuity and bonuses from your company. You need to serve the notice period to your employer as agreed by you and your employer at a time of hiring. You can submit your resignation by mentioning your notice period duration and asking them to relieve from your responsibilites on _______ date. Your employer has to relieve you from the given date accordingly to your notice period, he cannot hold your resignation beyond your notice period. Answered on Sun, 16/11/2008 - 12:06pm
