Go straight on salwa road till fort round about
and take right turn towards rayyan road its about
a k.m. from R/A you can see the ZOO sign board
at right side....

it's near Hyatt Plaza.. u can ask anyone u see there... zoo is good... friday is family day open from 1:30pm to 8:00pm

the ZOO is not that good, but it is very good coz there is NO WHERE to go in DOHA!!!!!
Try it is not that bad too!!

The Zoo is not good at all! Not that much of animals, and they keep them in very bad conditions, I feel for them..:( When I was there last time the lion and tiger was kept in a very small cage, they was just walking left and right, which is a sign of crazyness and luck of place...

Out Salwa take first light after Hyatt Center (big shopping cart) left. Zoo on left.

Zoo is sparse, but you get up close to animals. Staff is a little remiss is preventing visitors from feeding or disturbing animals.

Zoo is a bit run down, but adequate for showing animals to smaller children. Can be depressing compared to better zoos.

I have been there twice this month. It is Ok. Sad for us to see bad conditions, but interesting for kids to learn about animals...NIce walk also especially to make kids run arround and spend energy! Also they renovated the Play park area which is very nice, and with a tent so it is not so hot ! I usually go in the morning when there are less people, but it get very hot quickly...it is nicer when the weather is cool...Prices are cheap (2qr for kids and 5qr for adults). It is a nice change of scenery from the usual walk in the malls !!
