Showtime Channels do not relay cricket. If you want to see cricket the best option here is the Pehla. I remember they had a web site from where you could get more info.

If you want cricket without much recurring expenditure, you can try to get one tata sky receiver and install the same with a dish. Then you will get cricket. I don't know about tour de france.

Ask a friend from India to get you a Tatasky receiver. It's dirt cheap (as little as Qrs. 30 per month) and you get to watch all the sports played in whole damn world!

Or since you are from South Africa, you could get a subscription for SuperSports package (which I believe should be much much cheaper than Showtime) get their subscription card to Doha and insert it on any receiver. Of course you need to have a slightly bigger dish to receive signals for Panamsat satellite. Same applies to Tatasky signals, you need to have a big dish to receive signals from Insat satellite.

The Tour de France is covered live on the German TV channels ARD and ZDF on Hotbird. No fees!
