Anybody knows the new rules about baggage in Doha international airport?

How much weight can take checked baggage in the airport??

Do you want to know the baggage allowance or do you want to know what should be the maximum weight of one baggage?

The allowable weight is as per the airlines discretion which was stated in your ticket and/or as advised by the ticketing agent subject to your ticket's terms and conditions (value). However, as per IATA, you should have at least 23 kg baggage and 7 kg's hand carry. You need to ensure that your hand carried liquid such as perfume will not exceed to 100ml and shall be kept in the plastic bag as well.

Last week my friends went by Qatar Airways to India (BLR) it was 40 + 7.

even if 2 kilos extra they will ask you to remove.

If any changes now do not know.

Pls clarify what exactly IATA says.ie,
1 pkg is equal to 23 kgs (i mean not to exceed 23 kgs )
or the total luggage is 23 kgs?

/-a-t-/J2009: It should be 23 + 7 so the total will be 30 kgs for both hand carry and baggage :)

Maximum weight for a baggage is 32 KG
If you have 33 KG it is not allow in one bag
you have to make 2 baggages

How much weight you can carry?
It is depended on airline and destination.

I heard Qatar Airways want to limit 23Kg for each baggage...and total 40Kg/traveller to Calicut/Kochi etc.
But in the Qatar Airways website it is mentioned as 23Kg/traveller as total allowance and baggage weight max. 32kg as existing..Anybody can clarify/Confirm from their experience?
