Xmas in Qatar...hotels are offering Xmas Eve and Xmas Day dinner and lunch (i like Sheraton and Intercontinental).
Lots of ppl are putting decoration in their windows, cars and even offices (i put those red santa hats on my car seats) ;o)
u can buy a tree and decor in here.
if ppl r here w/o family, they mostly gather in one house for dinner or go to a hotel together.
u have carolling in hotels as well.
there is also church where u can attend a mass.

don't say that there is no Xmas here...it will be only as bad, as u will make it urself.

Sorry to further comment but why should an Islamic Government shut shops, offices etc on Christmas day? How many Christian countries allow their Muslim staff time off for Eid, or even make allowances for Ramadan?

Chistmas in Qatar is just like an ordinary day.

No christmas lights, no carols, no christmas decors. Some malls do have trees and most christians do celebrate it in their homes but not the country. A dry christmas compared to other countries who really anticipates this special day...

Xmas in Qatar is quite different from Xmas outside Gulf region. Xmas here is quiet..you cannot find little kids roaming around and making a xmas carols...no "puto bungbong and bibingka" (rice cakes) selling in the church after the holy mass....

hhhmmm.. how sad... i miss the xmas in U.K. and in Philippines...

It's lovely and quite Christmassy. Thanks to the tolerance and respect shown by the people of Qatar. They are an example to all.
