Goa in July

Goa in July

I'm planning to travel to South Goa this July with friends. Does it make sense, since i found out that it is monsoon season? will we be able to swim or enjoy beach life/ night life. nothing too wild, but just some relaxing from daily life routine and good fun.
Any suggestions if July is any good for South Goa?

Off season - so u shd get awesome deals on great hotels. Yes it is the monsoon but you gotta hope for good weather. North Goa better for partying out South Goa good for lazying around.

Now why didnt I head to Goa during the monsoon :-(

i had been to goa once upon a time in july. i am from kerala and its torrential rain all the time in both the places. beaches would be soaked,hardly u will find any tourists. and best deals on hotel guarenteed. if u r for the first time to goa, its better to choose sep-march.
