ski holidays for beginners

Hi,

I'm looking to book a ski holiday for myself and the kids.
We are all beginners. I'm try to find a place that is value for money( ie not cheap not overly expensive) that is suited for the beginner.
The problem I'm facing is that a lot of the websites I have found so far operate from the UK and they have flights worked into the prices of their packages. I would fly from Qatar. Anybody have any suggestions for me?

I think you should try Turkey, Uludag. You'll have to fly to istanbul and from there it is another 4 hours transit. However the area is great for beginners.

thanks Denees,

but was hoping for information on how people book from here , as I mentioned alot of the tour operators that I have found so far include in their prices airfares from UK airports. Also I have seen reviews of Uludag, was hoping to go somewhere more established for first trip, Germany, Austria, France, Italy or even Switxerland.
