Travel to Saudi Arabia by Car?

Can anybody tell me the formalities necessary to be completed for going to Saudi arabia by Car?
and how many hours journey is it from Doha to Dammam?

Hi,
1)You will need a copy of your car registere
2) A letter from your work / Sponser
3) 2 passport Photos of your self ( and any one with you )
4) go to any Saudia arabia visa agents ( cant remeber one at the moment) with the papers and apply through them.
It is a one hour drive from Doha to S.A boarder,
Another 1.5 hour Drive to Al hafouf, and another 2 to Dammam.
You can call the S.A emmbassy to as for agents office's.

Hi,
Don't do it !
My friends went through hell trying that (for visa)...You might even need to buy car insurance for outside of Doha which is costly, and without any visa you will be stuck between lands.
If u are doing it for Visa renewal, then try to get a plane tckt to Bahrain (the cheapest). its easier and safer for u.
