I have been wandering east and west, south and north of this country. Nothing to seems very interesting for me than Doha International Airport. It's not about the facility, neither its crowd. But, the feeling when you know that you are about to go to your home country is more romantic than every love song I know.

Go to the Ritz Carlton...end of Doha, which is away from crowded city; sit near the beach with your love and listen to the sound of waves and watch the sunset around 4.40 pm.....the winter is the best time to be romantic!!!!

Actually Now only I am thinking about this. I did not found any romatic place in Qatar last three years. Every tenents need more house rent there is no romance

well, this is one of those difficult questions to answers. i myself have been trying to figure this out for few years now.

some places that i can suggest are:

new cafe at the corniche near the Asian games mascot - its a lovely place to be in the evening with your luved one. now the weather is nice as well. take a table facing the sea. but weekends can be too crowded

check out the restaurants at the renovated souk waqif in doha city. some restaurants are quite nice with a romantic setting

beach at the sealine resort followed by dinner. again might be difficult to get a private space during weekends.

corniche during late evening (family area section) with bbq. try to get a lawn area with not much nosy people around.

probably a movie at the citycentre cinema?

and some guys mentioned above, maybe a long drive to Ras Laffan or Dukhan with a speed limit of 40 :-)

sheraton beach side restaurant - quite a good ambience

nice question...but its not the place.. its how you make the place romantic...holding hands, whispering those sweet nothings, those gestures, body language... that's the stuffs that make a place rmantic..

Unfortunately, none. Qatar is plain old boring. Lonely planet has called it the most boring place of earth. In the future, may be a part of Pearl or any other new city.

Have you tried inland sea? I think that is the most romantic place you need 4x4 and drive over the dunes after Sealine resort around 30 km you will find your resting please along sea-side with a very quiet place.
