business visa not changed even after getting work visa

i came on business visa from the 3rd day i got the job, after one week the company take work visa for me, my business visa is only for one month, when it expired i ask the company, is my visa changed, they told me it will automatically change when they issue the work visa, so u have to take medical and finger print to complete the visa procedure and u have 3 month time, after 2 month i went for medical and i wait for result, after 4 days when i check the website no result came, so i went to health centre they ask to go to emigration and pay QRS 500 to change the visa, but when i reach emigration they are asking fine for 2 months daily QRS 200, before company told it will automatically changed to work visa when they take. so advice me what next. i dont know either company pay or ask me to pay, if company not paid what i will do, is there any possiblity to exit or give complaint against company please advice and i have the copy of work visa

goodness! how these people open the copmanies without basic knowledge of laws and rules in qatar?
NOTHING can be automatically.
1. Once your work visa was issued your company has to switch your business visa to work visa. Issuance of the work visa by itself has no meaning until it's stamped into your passport. So all this time you were still on the business visa, which was expired over a month ago.
2. QAR.500 is a Government fee for switching visa status. Your company must pay it.
3. Why did you go to the medical 2 months later? You should have done right after switch visa.
4. Since your visa has not been switched, and you were on the business visa all this time, the penalty for overstaying on Business visa is 200QAR per day, which your company has to pay

5. you cannot leave Qatar without paying the penalty in full.
You are stuck my friend. And all your troubles have started on the day when you bought your business visa illegally. you deserved it...

2 months = 60 days
60 days x 200 Riyal = Qr 12,000
As of now work visa for India are limited only
