Can't get ID card for 5 month - why?
My husband changed employer 5 month ago, and his new company started to process documents for his new ID card and visa.
They've submited papers to immigration department, immigration department aproved, then sent documents to CID.
Since then, nothing happened. We're everyday visiting immigration, and they say "come back tomorrow, documents are still with CID".
5 month ago we also had a son, so now I still can't register our son, can't even get papers of his birth out of the hospital, cause hospital refuses to give birth certificate without my husbands ID.
Have anybody had same kind of delay? Any idea why it happens and how can speed up the process, or where to go to grumble about it?

There is usually a delay in clearence from CID and immigration process. Lot of things still go on paper based approvals. They are trying to make the whole process electronic so that things will get processed faster but till then ............. Just keep on checking, thats all what you can do.
