Criteria for Annual Leave Vacation

My company is not allowing me annual vacation, what is the criteria for giving annual vacation and leave salary, as per agreement i am entitled yearly leave and one month leave salary.where can i complain about this , what will be the out come in that case, if any body knows about this or having some similar experiences please share your suggestions.

Hi,
Yes its Truth the outcome will be Deport from Doha Airport with immediate effect and with first possible flight.
That’s the main problems facing by many ppls here at Doha with almost 97% Companies doing this and every worker hoping for new Labour Law

ok the total saalry you'll get is 3000 USD = QR 10921
if the company pays for accomodation, and you're single this would be ok. But if you need to pay for accomodation that would cost you soemthing like QR4000-5000 for a studio or the same or a bit less for a room in a flat in a decent location. In this case I wouldn't advise you to come because you wont be able to save money. And taxis here are a big problem, for sure you'd want to buy a car.

majority in qatar are goin tru the same scenario.
you have only one option in front thats either DO OR DIE.

Steps to demanding leave vacation:

1) Go home and collect all suitcases and shipping trunks together.
2) Pack all your belongings as if you are leaving the country.
3) Next day go to your HR and demand that you be given a vacation.
4) Go to step (1)
5) Load all on company pickup and head for the airport

An employee is entitled for a vacation leave after one year of continuous service, with leave pay of not less than 21 days. Check your contract again and see what are stipulated there, and why your employer is not allowing you for a leave.

I just want to know "weather 21 days leave after one year or it includes in one year".

If after one year , after 12 years of working we will loose one year in our life...........!!!!

Anasfk, my point is clear. AFTER one straight year working for a company you can avail for a vacation leave. And a part of your benefits is that your company must pay you not less than 21 days of VL pay. As for the ticket, some employers provide free round-trip tickets after 2 years of completion of work, some provide it annually, and some every six months. That is why I suggested that employment contracts be reviewed.
