Family visa cancellation.
Dear friends
I have resigned and my last working day is 12Nov09. How much time it will take for cancellation of RP, my RP Expiry date is also 12No09. Is it mandatory to cancel my family’s RP to cancel my RP? My wife and one kid are here in Doha with me and other two children are in India and they left Doha 9 and 5 months back respectively. Please kindly advice a best solution.

Yes, It is mandatory to cancel your family visa under your sponsor ship for cancelling your RP. Your child's visa also to be cancelled, eventhough they are not in Qatar. If original passport is with you, it will be better so that they can stamp the cancellation in passport. If original passport is not with you, Copy with valid visa pge will work out. Keep the visa cancellation slip with you inorder to avoid further complication in future. Answered on Wed, 04/11/2009 - 8:58am
