I would like to bring my mom to qatar on a visit. she is 67yrs. Can i get a visa for her.I am here with family

yes you can bring, 1-get a salary certificate in arabic from ur company 2-go to main immigration office,get form and get it typed from the typing office,3-valid passport copy is also required.4-take all these papers to upstairs to the captain,try to get it approved from the captain.if he approves bring these papers at gate no.4 down stairs.submit these papers with qr-200 per month fees. and get the visa after 3days. hey i brought my mom here for a visit last dec and she too is abt that age. she stayed in doha for a mth, visa fr the airport thru al maha services. had she wanted to extend her stay here it was also allowed thru an immigration runner. then again it also depends which country your fr too (me thinks). gl on yr moms visit here Answered on Fri, 08/08/2008 - 7:30pm

Spicemom I dont think your mum is asian? Because I applied for my mother 3 times, got rejected all. My mum is asian. When i showed the form to the Captain, he looked at my mother day of birth, he said NO, she is over 60. At that time i was 8 months pregnant and i went there personally. Its almost the same as absaraftab mentioned.But there is one more thing you should be aware off.You should have your labour contract with you to bring any one under your sponsership.It seems this law had been in force recently.If you are applying a tourist visa from the airport immigration you dont need this.Good luck Answered on Fri, 08/08/2008 - 11:44pm
