Procedure for Medical and Visa Extention (Visit Visa)

Hi All,

Could any one let me know step my step procedure or the process of finishing the medical and getting extention for a person on vist visa, arrived last week.

If the person entering Doha on a visit visa wishes to extend the stay beyond 30 days, then he/she must get Medical examination done at the Qatar Medical Commission near Abu Hamour Petrol Station (near E-Ring Road). It is advisable that one should do this as early as in the 1st week of their entry into the country.

1. Carry your Visit visa copy & write your mobile number on it. The Medical Examination hall is separate for Ladies & gents.
2. Carry a credit card / debit card for payment of 100QAR (as there is no cash acceptance at the counter). Make the payment & get the receipt.
3. Do all the Medical formalities (Blood Sampling, Chest X-Ray etc)
4. After 2 days check the status of Medical chekup online at this link (http://www.sch.gov.q...)

1.Original Passport
2.Clear copy of the Entry Visit Visa(With your mobile number)
3.Fees required for this checkup is 100QR
4.The results is sent electronically to the Immg Dept.
5.If you regested in Metrash, you will receive a massage.
