Reg. Sponsorship change
Dear All,
I am working in a semi govt company for the last 1 year 5 months. The company now gave me NOC and necessary approvals to move to another employer (it is a private company). I am confused to note here in the QL that some one is stating for transferring the sponsorship first time the employee should have completed two years, and some remarks that one year employment will do.... which one is correct? Two years or one year? I have cheked in the MOL website found nothing about that.... can any body tell me what is the real situation?
thank you

NOC and Release are two different things.. NOC - you can go back to your country after your visa cancellation and can enter qatar on other company visa. But you will need to submit your NOC to new employer as they will need it to submit along with your new visa application or during the time of RP stamping. Release - You can transfer your existing visa to a new employer without exiting Qatar. Note : For Release, you need to complete atleast 1 year with your old sponsor before you will be eligible to transfer your existing visa to new employer. Answered on Wed, 04/11/2009 - 5:51pm
