HPD
By Aisha on Sat, 07/11/2009 - 2:58pmThank God for the power of knowledge!
There are two people in my life that I couldn't quite understand. A woman and a man. I tried to analyze their personalities in order to understand where all the actions they do are coming from. I searched and searched and now I finally got them figured! They suffer a disorder called "Histrionic personality disorder" (HPD) , according to wikipedia and other sources..
I'm finally reliefed! I do excuse them now! I can deal with them on a regular basis soo smoothly because I won't question their intentions any more; like every one else is doing! I wont judge them! Knowledge is so powerful; it has set me free from all akwardness with these two..

Catching up with old friends..
By Aisha on Sat, 24/10/2009 - 9:52amSo I have this new tradition that I'm sooo loving! For two weeks now, I invited two old friends to come visit mee.. I plan for the gathering and I make sure that I have one free day a week to catch up with an old friend in a nice welcoming environment. It improves my mood BIG TIME and makes me spend the next week thinking about what other good old friend I foolishly lost touch with for the past few months.
I just love love love this! Next week I'm planning on borrowing my brother's traditional tent ( located in my family's backyard ), which functions as a majles for the guys!, and giving it a temporarily girly transformation! I want to invite a group of friends at a time. I can't wait!

Cosa consiglia?
By Aisha on Thu, 08/10/2009 - 4:16pmIt means "What do you cecommend?" :-)
Before we went to Italy, I learned some survival phrases .. The greetings, How to order food, asking for directions..etc.. THANKS GOD for YOUTUBE!!
It's kind of a nice thing to do to show people respect , Especially when they don't speak English.. I would just apologize in Italian for not speaking Italiano and then I would ask if they could Speak English, most of the time we end up using sign language lol
Ahhhhhhh..That was seriously delicious!

Venice Sep.2009 "Too Good To Be True"
By Aisha on Tue, 06/10/2009 - 2:32pmThe phrase "too good to be true" is used all the time, I officially stopped draining it the moment I laid eyes on Venice, it's the only worthy occasion of that saying! I'm in love with the place and every single aspect of it.. The sounds, the faces of tourists, the heart-singing gondoliers. Everything..

Together again..
By Aisha on Mon, 24/08/2009 - 8:54pmThree years ago I lost contact with a very special person to me. Today, with the blessing of Ramadan, we communicated! I got her phone number from Qtel and we talked, we have a HUGE catch up to do! I'm soooo happy, it hurts!
I'm not the same person I used to be Three years ago, though. I hope by renewing that friendship I would be myself again..
When you get married you get confused. Like who am I now? I'm X what? X the wife of Y? X the mother of Z?
X what?
I want to be my DNA.
ME.
X!!

For What It's Worth,
By Aisha on Fri, 24/07/2009 - 12:36am"I love you as the plant that doesn't bloom and carries
hidden within itself the light of those flowers,
and thanks to your love, darkly in my body
lives the dense fragrance that rises from the earth."

There is busy, and there is busier!
By Aisha on Mon, 20/07/2009 - 11:37pmI've been very busy lately. OMG I volunteer at work even when I have many tasks already. I figured I work better under pressure. It's fine with me as long as I am the one forcing myself to do it!! My only concern is people taking advantages of my seemingly undying energy; people asking me to do what they are asked for! Sometimes they ask me to work outside the office! I just can't say no!!!! It gets stuck in my throat!uuunnnnoooo!! Can't do it, sorry! Sometimes, it's their private business I'm asked to work on! I KNOW, right!!
On the other hand, I just started learning Creative Writing by one of the Classifieds tutors! I'm sooooo excited about it even that the classes will be virtual ones (via the web) !
Good Night!!
A DAY OFF
By Aisha on Mon, 06/07/2009 - 9:44amI don't feel well today; I took the day off. I feel guilty because I know I could've toughened up and put myself up to it.I didn't. Now I feel like a total loser making excuses to escape work!! I mean, come on!! Me? I'm madly in love with my work!!
The truth is, something is seriously wrong with the air conditions at work and I stupidly chose not to be able to stand the heat anymore. Now, here I am, enjoying the cool air in my room and blogging about my nothing like a total loser.. I'll never take a day off… Being a morning person, I have no excuse. I guess I'll just do some shopping now after I just went to the hospital and got a blood test, you see I thought there might be a connection between not standing the heat and poor blood hehe
Being Used feels sooooo.... !!
By Aisha on Wed, 10/06/2009 - 4:13pmI wish no one would ever feel used or taken for granted. No one deserves that.
Don't disregard the people who care about you.. Just don't.
No details provided, for the sake of the people who are allergic to my personal blog hehe

^ Explore Your Ministry ^
By Aisha on Tue, 02/06/2009 - 7:42amLately, there has been some free time at work, it could be because it's summer time and there aint much work as it used to be.
Anyway, my coworkers and I have been working on a sort of "newsletter-in-the -making" during that free time. We did some researches and then wrote down our vision , mission and goals on both short and long terms.
The first issue got released yesterday. Thanks to God it's been a HUGE success. We just started the first issue as an experimental copy of our newsletter (future internal employees magazine, inshallah!).. so we just addressed the employee of one floor (of 15 floors), our publication has been the talk of the ministry!!

Have fun working !
By Aisha on Fri, 29/05/2009 - 10:18amI've been successful in my job so far. It's been a short time, yes, but God helped me building a reasonably positive reputation; compared with those who've been working for quite some time now..
It's because I pray and try to stay close to God. If I work hard, it's for God, not my boss.. If I'm kind with people, It's for Him not because I want them to like me or anything; because they may misunderstand me and, believe me, it's okay with me, it really is!, ..You see, I'll be kind anyway..
So, before doing anything good, direct your intention so it would be done for the sake of God.. And don't forget to ALWAYS enjoy it..
This way, nothing can put you down, NOTHING!, .. Because you aint waiting for no appreciation or anything like that :-D
HAVE FUN!!
