this is not in Qatar ...i saw this vedio before, dont worry , its not in Qatar. its all in saudi arabia, even they put it in the saudi TV last year in a special program.

It may not be Qatar....... ...but this sort of thing happens here, in Dubai, in Kuwait, a pretty much everywhere in the middle east. Honestly, I wonder why?

Try to analyze a local who is born and brought up in Qatar? Assuming that he didn't travel abroad for education. It's like being frog in a well. You have all the money you want, yet you can't spend on anything but luxurious cars, gadgets, perfumes and thats about it. How many movies can you watch in a cinema in a week?
Life gets a bit too monotonous and that's I guess they go out looking for such kind of fun. It's actually not surprising to note that such things don't happen much in Dubai (can't say about the entire UAE), as that place is more open and has better forms of entertainment even for locals to indulge into.

Good One Gypsy ...When you got everything, there is no problem in getting a new car when you crash the current one .... This is not about driving, this is about killing yourself, .. killing your friends ... killing the people with you in the car , ... and killing other people who were just passing by.
These guys are simply 'Suicidal Guys'. They don't learn until they got injured and spend the rest of their life on wheeled chairs and the others are in comas in the hospitals.
Some of them told me, I'm waiting for my hour but it won't come. I wish if i died back then and never be like that now. I wish if died even before that, .. I do it to impress my friends and amaze other people ... Where is my friends now? :( I can't find any of them around me the same way they used to be before :(

That video was cut short ...I have seen it on another compilation and the guy who fell out slid clear before the car rolled on him.
But that wouldn't have looked as spectacular would it.
If young lads don't have girlfriends to keep them in line then these things happen.
I read a similar report about what is going on in China.
Because there is such a shortage of girls due to cultural reasons the lads are regularly knocking lumps out of eachother and cutting bits off eachother due to such a male dominated society.
All that testosterone that nature gives us at that time of life has to be used up somewhere.

Not really a comparison ...The difference is that Nascar etc are all done with lots of safety gear and in a special environment, not where they can kill people who are passing by. It is the complete lack of a sense of responsibility in these males which manifests itself in these actions and also in how they treat women. No girlfriends, they don't deserve girlfriends.
Chances of dying in an accident in Qatar - Highest in the world - at a Monster/Nascar meet - pretty slim.
Have a look in today's Gulf Times - deaths by foolish drivers up by 318% since 2000. And supporting picture too.
And China's lack of girls - due to a single child policy which resulted in girls being killed at birth so that they could try for a son - a son would give them someone to look after them later in life as the daughter would leave them to move in with her husband and inlaws - leaving her parents without a male heir to provide for their old age.

so does that make it less worrying.....? i pity the mentality of these ppl who have nothing better to look out for in their lives.... WASTING away their life.... !!!!!!
and its not just in saudi.. all this happens even here in qatar... !!! really depressing......!!!!

Crazy driving ...I just found out that a colleague whom I had barely gotten the chance to know a little was in a bad car accident (as a passenger) while I was out of the country and is likely to have a medical evacuaton to his home country tonight. This was the second accident in which he had been a passenger in only a few months.
Honestly the awful and completely unnecessary awful driving boggles the mind.
Is Qatar indeed the most dangerous place in the world to be on the road?

I participated to a crash ...I participated to a crash like this, with a car I owned tree years before and the I survived but I got so scared that in the second day I went to the closest store and made a car donation. And I couldn't drive for over a year after that.

Cars ...Well in some countries driving is just crazy , I have been in Tunis recently and omg I used a Raleigh car rental service to get a small car , but the drivers there do not respect any laws.

Driving ...Man, people in Qatar drive awful , maybe they should go back to bicycles and enroll their cars in a car donations program to help some more responsable people.
