I believe that religions would never bring people together. Most of the ancient and modern wars were in the name of religions.
So please let us stay all friends here and never go behind these topics. No one will accept anyone or agree with someone that is insulting their religion. Everyone believes that his religion is the best for him so what is the point of arguing about that?

I have to go so later I would be continuing this subject.

Religion shud not be interpreted as a divide, rather a purpose creating sort of an activity thats all...

I would like to thank you for considering the website the site of all QL members. Please let's keep it like that brothers and sisters. I did not complete my last post because my friends were outside waiting for me to go to Sealine. The water was awesome today, kind of cold but what a refreshment that you got there. Anyway back to our subject and like most of the posts agreed to stop these kind of posts.

Everyone knows from where to get all of these lessons whether it was about Islam or Christianity. The main idea behind this website were to help the people living in Qatar, coming to Qatar and sadly leaving Qatar. We can all discuss our daily life issues and how do we feel about it and ask for some help or a piece of advise. Most of these things are common between all of us and we do agree to what some people are saying and sometimes we don't. We can find ourselves in other peoples problems and needs because we faced before or maybe are facing the same now.

Religions are something different and from my experience it never brings people together. Someone was posting some topics on Islam, then we find another one posting some about 'Christianity'. We don't want to change this website into a fighting place for these kind of posts because a lot of people later would be dragged into similar posts. If someone had posted something bad about 'Christianity' or 'Islam', we would see people from here and there start doing the same. Religion is a very important part of the creation of someone's personality, life style and other related things.

I don't want to see someone get offensive because of some of those posts and instead of coming here to have friends, we would be coming here to pick up enemies every time we surf the web. Whatever everyone is believing is something that should concern that person. If someone come to ask me about my opinion in his/her religion ... then what should i say? No one do understand the others religions the same way that they do. I don't want to give any examples, but what you think it is ok in your religion it is not in mine. What you think it is right, i think it is wrong.

We would never come to a conclusion about it or agree to something. In the end everyone believes in what they think that it is the best of them. Some were born like that, some were looking for the truth until they got it and the others won't even think of any other religion but his/her. If someone wants to know anything about Islam there are a lot of resources. If someone on the other hand wants to know something about Christianity there are also a lot of resources. Everyone is using the internet now, everyone is aware of what is right and wrong. Everyone knows what is the best for him/her, so let's please forget about all of these sort of things and stay friends respecting each other opinions and thoughts and never talk about the others religions, it is part of their lives and talking about changing that is not an easy thing. It is a complete difference.

I totally agree, however I wonder why Muslims and Christians are always trying to impose their religion on others....why Buddhists or Hindu for instance never do that.....I'm Muslim by the way

Each religion has some lesson that we could adapt in our lives to make us a better person. As what Moonbeam said, take the best and get rid of the bad...so to speak...;-)

Dont try to enforce their own religion on others as it is seen as a path to enlightenment within one's self and to try to convert or force such religion on another may not create harmony for that person.
If another person is interested in such a religion the most that a buddhist/Hindi (got it in the end) would do is suggest reading books on the subject and attending speeches by H.H Dalai Lahma (truly fantastic man).
