Al Jazeera English - Are you there?
Well, it seems like a big day for everyone at Al Jazeera tomorrow. As reported here, Al Jazeera English is launching tomorrow. I know there are a few people who work at Al Jazeera floating round on this site. It would be fantastic if you'd share your experience and the feeling of what it means to launch a new station with the rest of us!

It should be fantastic!! ...Well as sad as I am for not being able to work there on the time that aljazeera is opening as excited as I am to know that all is going well and we will be able to be fully operational soon.
Having been there for the openning of two other TV stations before, i could tell you that I am sure the feeling will be fantastic and challenging for the rest of us who are lucky to be working during that period of time, and for the rest of us we can watch and applaud from home because I believe this Channel will be the begining of a new erra to the western world.

It is not not my TV ...I can't find it any where on my cable. Must be only for other parts of the world.

it was awsom ...It was a fantastic moment when it started on 3:00 pm Qatar time, Both new website (http://english.aljaz...) and new TV channel started at same time, all staff in offices stood up and clapped for one minutes, powerful reporting in first burst. It was enjoyable moment, we even had a cake party for launching it.
The basic purpose of new channel is to set better communication with non-arabic world, as Al-Jazeera Arabic has already setup big influence on the media. Al-Jazeera is was rated as 5th most influential brand of the world, after google and microsoft.
The new Al-Jazeera is now there to set the News Agenda.

you can find the channel in public nile sat bouquet ...if your reciever is divided into few bouquets you will be able to find aljazeera international on public nilesat bouquet, if not then you can search the website and you might be able to find which frequency to tune into.
