Jeep Recall

I saw an article in the Gulf Times Timeout about how Chrysler is recalling Jeeps. Does anyone know if this affects Jeeps in Qatar?

I can add the following to this thread - "The lower ball joint seal in 2002 and some 2003 Jeep Cherokee/Liberty models is wearing away, which could affect the vehicle's suspension and, in addition to the 318 000 recalls, Chrysler plans to investigate 120 000 other 2003 vehicles to make sure they aren't affected."

"In fact, of the 439 000 vehicles affected worldwide, Chrysler Group was alerted to the recall by only a few individual complaints - testimony to the company's commitment to ensuring Jeep and Chrysler vehicles are among the best engineered and safest in the world"

To make sure if your vehicle is included on the recall campaign. Call this toll free no. 1-800-992-9997. Just give your complete vehicle indentification number( VIN ) or for short "chassis number". They will provide you information which recalls are for your car.

Why all this hassle. Call the Jeep dealer here and find out! They won't hide it.
