The Stranger Who Knew
{Here's a little something I wrote recently, I really like it cause it reflects alot about me, tell me what u guys think}
-------
A strange woman was standing in front of me. Face to face, with unblinking eyes, we stared at each other for a what seemed like eternity. Who is she? What does she want from me? I wondered. She looked at me, as if she knew me, as if she could read my mind. Oh how can I forget those knowing eyes? The eyes that seemed to look deep into my naked soul. She seemed familiar, yet distant, I’ve seen her somewhere, sometime, I just could not remember where and when. She said she knew me, she knew my past and my present, but what struck me most was that she said she forgave me. I was shocked. What have I done to this woman who I don’t know ?
She said she understood the hardships I’ve been facing, but all she asks for is the right to exist, the right to sore free. I was lost. I didn’t understand what was going on. And finally I spoke “ Who are you?” I asked, “See what I mean” she said, “ You don’t even know who I am, You have denied my existence for too long.” No words could be said, for words were not needed anymore. Words could not express the revelation.
I stared into her eyes, and I knew it all. I knew who she was. I knew what I have done. I have been too cruel, and yet she found the mercy to forgive me, to give me a second chance to amend the bridge between us. I must make things right, I thought. After the long silence, I spoke, “I am sorry” I said, “ I never intended for this to happen. Things will change. I promise.” “ I believe you” she replied, “ All I ask for is some freedom, and I promise I’ll help you throughout your life, I’ll help you be creative, more importantly I’ll help you be your true self. I’ll be there for you, and I’ll help you live a better life. Just give me a chance and I’ll show you.” She was right. It was a life defining moment, and I knew things would be different from then on, things would be better.
For a final moment I looked into those knowing eyes, and with a smile on my face I walked away from the mirror.

Well, it is a matter of ...Well, it is a matter of interpretation I believe.
Yes, in a way it happened to me, and yes, it has changed my life.

very nice one ...Nothing happened by chance in our life, sometimes you need to still a moment and look back to see what you have missed, what you are expecting, and what you got in your hands along the way. And without this turning point, you’ll never be able to test or express the limit of your soul, and life will be just like a flat smooth road to no where,
very nice one Cornelian, it seems that you know how to read your soul, I really enjoyed reading it.

And actually never happened this to me. It sounds to me like you have met with someone from your privious life, but I don't know if it is possible. It is so mistical! :)

I can relate it to my life too..Sometimes we need SELF EVALUATION to come out of the barriers we have built around us and to change the way of life.

Good article. I used to ...Good article. I used to have the same kind of thoughts back in the days, during my high school years. Which is why I am the person taht I am today, these things help in building up self esteem and charisma. It's good. Althou i wonder, do any of those local landcrusier drivers ever come across such thoughts?
