Arab village movie set near Dukhan

Can someone who has been to this place please label it on the QL map? I would like to see it at some point before the weather gets too hot and i'm not entirely sure where it is.

Check the "picnic" posting. SL is planning an outing there on Feb. 22. You are welcome to come along I'm sure. Xena has also posted pictures in the gallery.

Thanks for the invite. I managed to find one place on the map that I think may be it. I read through that thread but I couldn't quite figure out exactly where it is though. I even found it mentioned on virtualtourist.com but the directions that they give make it seem like it should be much closer to Dukhan that it appears it is.

The pictures are cool...I'd like to get some shots of my own.

that's cool, but it's a small and empty country out there, and it seems like it shouldn't be that hard to spot on the satellite maps.

Those are for the main village itself, just a little further north of that is the secondary area with the rotund stone structures (See Xena's previous pic posts)
